The Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina is located just moments from the San Diego airport, and about a five minute drive from Downtown. Guests looking for a resort like experience, just minutes from most San Diego attractions will enjoy this property. Although not within walking distance of downtown attractions, the Sheraton benefits from a quiet waterfront location with views of the Bay and the San Diego skyline. Guest rooms at the Sheraton San Diego vary greatly depending on location, so pay very close attention to your room selection. Each tower is distinctly different, and offers its own advantages. Some rooms have been recently renovated, while others have not. Similarly, room sizes vary according to location. Unfortunately some towers at this Sheraton leave much to be desired, so make certain you know what you’re getting. Some guest rooms offer stunning views of the neighboring harbor, water, and city skyline. All in all, as long as you end up with the right room, you’ll be satisfied with this Sheraton. If you desire to be downtown however in the heart of the action, you may want to consider other options.

General Tips: This hotel has 3 Towers: Bay Tower, Marina Tower and the Lanai Tower. The Bay Tower is most preferred, as these rooms are most newly renovated, larger and feature some of the best views in the hotel. Keep in mind that the Bay Tower has its own entrance and check-in area. The Marina is the second best option, as these rooms feature great views (in some locations) The Lanai Tower is a low-rise building (These Room Numbers start with a "5") The Lanai Tower is least preferred, as rooms are oldest in design and far from the main lobby.
