The Mandalay Bay is a Las Vegas mega resort, which caters to travelers with a variety of tastes. Like most of its counterparts, the Mandalay Bay features numerous upscale restaurant options, entertainment and casino gaming. The pool scene however beats most in the city, as it’s quite impressive in size and offers a plethora of activities. All guest rooms have been recently updated to reflect a more modern motif. Even standard rooms are generously sized, and all feature luxurious bathrooms with separate showers and tubs. Some rooms benefit from stunning views of Las Vegas Boulevard or the surrounding desert or pools. For those needing more space, we would recommend considering “The Hotel”, a separate property operated by Mandalay Bay which offers all suites in a more hip and trendy environment. Overall, we love Mandalay Bay, as it’s a wonderful choice for Las Vegas visitors. We find that the casino is open and provides a more “fresh” take on gaming, with a great ventilation system compared to most other major casinos.
