The MGM Grand is a Las Vegas landmark hotel, but has been greatly improved bringing it up to speed with the competition in most areas. Among these improvements, are great new restaurants which can compete with the best in Las Vegas. Don’t expect the MGM from 20 years ago. Guest rooms tend to be average in size, but vary according to their location in the hotel. Same goes for décor, as MGM has decided to take different directions with décor depending on where your room is located. Pay careful attention to the room information below. West Wing rooms are smaller, but more recently updated and contemporary in design. The standard MGM rooms however are slightly larger, but tend to feature an older more classic style. If bathrooms and luxury are important, seriously consider the MGM Signature or one of the newer Las Vegas mega resorts. Overall, the MGM is reliable, and caters to its regulars… but for a truly over the top experience, check out the Sky Lofts at MGM.
