The Mirage pioneered the Mega Resort concept in 1989, but still stands as one of Las Vegas’ best hotel options. Perhaps its best feature is the location, as it’s right in the middle of everything Las Vegas has to offer. Guest rooms are average in size, and will soon benefit from a complete overhaul. Rooms as of now are somewhat basic in features, but still shouldn’t disappoint those looking for a solid Las Vegas hotel option. We’re looking forward to seeing the new rooms. The casino and most common areas have been improved, and the Mirage has added some of Las Vegas’ best new restaurant options. You won’t be disappointed by the services here. The pool area also remains great, and is great for kids and adults alike. All in all, the Mirage is a solid choice for those looking for a resort like hotel experience in Las Vegas. If your focus is to find the newest and best room available, we suggest exploring other options, as there are bigger and better rooms to be had. On the other hand, the Mirage is reliable, centrally located and tends to be more competitively priced than its upscale competition.
