The James Chicago is perhaps the best Boutique Hotel option in the city. The James was essentially built from the ground up as a new hotel, so you’re met with the sensation of “new” throughout. Upon arrival, you are greeted by a friendly staff, and a cool lobby to boot. Guest rooms are unique, and take on a cool contemporary approach to design. Rooms feel fresh, and feature the newest in amenities and conveniences. Whether you are here to have fun, or here to relax, both can be accomplished at the James. Beds are comfy, and bathrooms are uniquely designed. David Burke’s Primehouse makes an excellent dinner choice, and serves as the hotel’s main restaurant. The James is tucked away just one block from Michigan Avenue, making it central to most everything in Chicago.
