The Hilton Checkers is a wonderful intimate Downtown Los Angeles hotel option. Although in the midst of Downtown, this property is especially cozy and exudes a highly residential feel throughout. Guest rooms are cozy, and take on a very "at home" type feel, particularly for a city hotel. If you're trying to get away from the typical convention hotel, yet still desire something upscale, the Hilton Checkers makes a wonderful choice. Be sure to check out the private roof-top pool area, it's great.
